Remote Online Notary (RON)
A Remote Online Notary is NOT the same as an e-notary, although the two get confused quite often.
When using a Remote Online Notary, each person involved in the transaction is required to have the latest versions of either Google Chrome or Safari, on their computer, phone or tablet. Each participant will be required to have their identity verified through a verification process using a third party provider to enable these services.
The notary must vet each signer. If the signers do not answer all questions or provide correct information they will not be able to pass the ID verification as the third party providers usually only have data on U.S. citizens only.
Only after you have successfully completed ID Verification, our system then connects you and by videoconference that is recorded on our web-based audio/visual platform.

E-Notary
An E-Notary involves documents that are notarized in electronic form, where the Notary and document signer sign with an electronic signature. However, all other elements of a traditional, paper notarization apply to electronic notary. Including the requirement for the signer to physically appear before the Notary in the state of Pennsylvania.
The effect of E-Notary is the same as a notary signing a sheet of paper, but it allows for easier transmittal of the document by email or another electronic source, and enables electronic filing. All we need is access to the Internet and a browser, which allows us to transform our notary business in a matter of minutes.

Verify
your
identity
You will need to provide a valid, unexpired government-issued ID, such as a driver's license, state ID card, passport or Military ID. You will verify your identity by using Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) where you will answer personal questions about your identity or using biometrics. Your notary will also compare your ID with your face before proceeding to verify your identity is true. Upon reviewing the verification process the notary will then make a final determination on if more info needs to be provided.
*Do not send your notary your ID as we must use a third party system to verify your identity. The system will walk you through the verification process before you sign your documents.
